Some days you just need a mood boost. We've all been there. Lucky for you, Genius Potion has 1,000 MG of a compound called DL-Phenylalanine, that at only 20% of the dosage in Genius Potion out performed a prescription anti-depressant in a clinical trail with depressed patients. In this study, 40 depressed patients were split evenly into two groups. One group was administered DL Phenylalanine at a dosage of 150-200 MG every 24 hours, the other was administered imipramine at the same dosage and frequency. There was no statistical difference between the two treatment groups across multiple assessment metrics. The study concluded that DL-Phenylalanine may have substantial antidepressant properties. It is also important to note that DL-Phenylalanine was at a very low dosage, while imipramine was at its standard effective dosage.

A study was conducted to examine the effects of Rhodiola Rosea extract (SHR-5) on the physical and mental performance of foreign students during a stressful exam period. This double-blind, placebo-controlled trial had students take either Rhodiola Rosea or a placebo for 20 days. The researchers assessed the students' physical fitness, mental fatigue, and overall well-being before and after the exam period. The results showed that those taking Rhodiola Rosea experienced significant improvements in physical fitness and reduced mental fatigue. They also reported feeling better overall compared to the placebo group. However, there was no significant improvement in certain tests like text correction or neuro-muscular tapping, suggesting that while Rhodiola Rosea had noticeable benefits, the dosage used might have been lower than optimal.

The participants' cognitive performance was assessed before taking the supplement and then at 1, 2.5, 4, and 6 hours after dosing. The study focused on measuring speed of attention, attention accuracy, memory speed, and memory quality. Results showed that those who took Ginkgo, especially at higher doses, experienced significant improvements in cognitive performance, particularly in "speed of attention," with effects lasting up to 6 hours. The study concluded that Ginkgo Biloba can lead to sustained improvements in attention in healthy young adults.
